THE WEST COAST TVET COLLEGE GRADUATE INTERNSHIP PROGRAMME

Applications must be submitted with a fully completed New Z83: Application for Employment form (obtainable from any Public Service Department or on the Internet at www.dpsa.gov.za). A Comprehensive CV; original certified copies of qualifications; original certified copies of Academic Record / Transcript; original certified copy of Identity Document; three contactable references with email addresses. Failure to submit a signed and dated New Z83 and submit all the required documents will result in your application not being considered. Correspondence will only be entered into with short-listed applicants. REQUIREMENTS: NQF LEVEL 4 INTERNS X 3
(STIPEND – R3 500.00 p.m. (24-month Internship)

Applicants must meet the following minimum requisites in order to qualify for consideration:

  • Matric / Grade 12
  • NQF level 4 qualification,
  • The NQF Level 4 must be within the last three years (2020 – 2022), from West Coast College.
  • Proficient in MS applications including Excel, PowerPoint and Word
  • Solid presentation and communication skills
  • Able to perform under pressure in a multi-tasking role
  • Effective time management skills
  • Able to perform tasks within a team
  • A holder of a valid driver’s license is a preference but not a requirement
  • A South African citizen
  • Must be able to commit to a 12-month agreement

The successful interns will report to the relevant Deputy Principal and will be based at the institution’s Central Office at Malmesbury. The interns will be required to sign a twelve-month commitment agreement. The primary objective of this internship opportunity is to equip interns with essential practical work experience within a work environment or to fulfill a prerequisite for qualification.

EXPOSURE: General Administration and documentation.

(Stipend R5 000 p.m. (24 months Internship)
Applicants must meet the following minimum requisites in order to qualify for consideration:

  • Matric / Grade 12
  • NQF level 6 qualification (3 years National Diploma in Public Relations or Marketing Management).
  • The NQF Level 6 must be within the last three years (2020 – 2022), from a registered Higher Education Institution. The internship Programme is a (12) twelve months or (1) one-year opportunity.
  • Proficient in MS applications including Excel, PowerPoint and Word
  • Solid presentation and communication skills
  • Able to perform under pressure in a multi-tasking role
  • Effective time management skills
  • Able to perform tasks within a team
  • A holder of a valid driver’s license is a preference but not a requirement
  • A South African citizen
  • Must be able to commit to a 12-month agreement

The interns will be required to sign a twelve-month commitment agreement. The primary objective of this internship opportunity is to equip interns with essential practical work experience within a work environment or to fulfil a prerequisite for qualification.

EXPOSURE: Internal and external communication; Assist with the compilation of articles for the staff newsletter, external newsletter and publications; Promote and develop communication, Promote and manage Social Media i.e. Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram; Assist with the organization and coordination of functions, workshops, conferences, events, exhibitions and roadshows.

REQUIREMENTS: NQF LEVEL 7 INTERN X 1 (Payroll) X1
Stipends (R 6 500 p. m. (24 months Internship)

Applicants must meet the following minimum requisites in order to qualify for consideration:

  • Matric / Grade 12
  • NQF level 7 qualification (4 years Degree in Human Resources Management)
    The NQF Level 7 must be within the last three years (2020 – 2022), from a registered Higher Education Institution. The internship Programme is a (12) twelve months or (1) one-year opportunity.
  • Proficient in MS applications including Excel, PowerPoint and Word
  • Solid presentation and communication skills
  • Able to perform under pressure in a multi-tasking role
  • Effective time management skills
  • Able to perform tasks within a team
  • A holder of a valid driver’s license is a preference but not a requirement
  • A South African citizen
  • Must be able to commit to a 12-month agreement
  • Exposure to HR Payroll functions is an added advantage

The successful interns will report to the Human Resource Manager and will be based at the institution’s Central Office at Malmesbury. The interns will be required to sign a twelve-month commitment agreement. The primary objective of this internship opportunity is to equip interns with essential practical work experience within a work environment or to fulfil a prerequisite for qualification.

EXPOSURE: Mainly payroll administration function and not limited to Recruitment and Selection, training and development, and performance management. Labour Relations; Benefit administration and payroll. General Administration and documentation. Must be in their final year of undergraduate Degree studies.
