TUT Registration Fee 2024-2025
The registration fee varies depending on your course of study and your citizenship status. Students not funded by NSFAS should please ensure that the minimum amount of R 1 500 for tuition and R 1200 for confirmed residence students, is paid into TUT’s account via EFT at least 72 hours before registration.
TUT Registration Dates 2024-2025
TUT Online Registration 2024-2025 opening date is 20 January 2024. The registration closing date is 10 February 2024. Late registration, on which a penalty fee will be charged, will take place from 13 February 2024 until 17 February 2024.

Tut Online Registrations Procedures 2024
How to Register Online at TUT for the 2024-2025 academic year. To register at TUT, follow the simple steps below:
- Visit www.tut.ac.za online
- Click on SEARCH on top of the right-hand side of the TUT homepage
- Then, click on ONLINE REGISTRATION underneath the search box
- Enter your student number and pin code under REGISTERED USERS.
- New students who never registered for any subjects before will only be able to activate their TUT4life e-mail addresses after they registered online for the 1st time.
- Senior Students: Before attempting to request a pin and/or add subjects online: Please activate your TUT4life e-mail addresses on the TUT Website: www.tut.ac.za
- If your pin number is lost, click on Request a Pin and it will be e-mailed to you, provided that your TUT4life e-mail
- Then, Click on Registration and the non-Memorandum of Agreement.
- Carefully read through the Memorandum of Agreement, after that, scroll down and click on the Accept conditions.
- Verify Qualification name
- Select your employment status
- Click Save and Continue and then click on Add Subjects to registration
- Select your subjects
- Click on Save and Proceed.
- Verify the selected subjects. If you wish to change a subject, click Restart Process and start from the beginning.
- Click on Accept Registration.
PLEASE NOTE:
With registration for the 2023 student intake commencing at the Tshwane University of Technology (TUT) on 20 January 2023, the following relevant information will assist students greatly to complete the registration process as smoothly as possible.
Registration for all senior and first-time entering students who have received acceptance letters, will only take place online on www.tut.ac.za, click on online registration.
For your safety and that of the University community, TUT is a cashless institution, therefore students not funded by NSFAS should please ensure that the minimum amount of R 1 500 for tuition and R 1200 for confirmed residence students, is paid into TUT’s account via EFT at least 72 hours before registration. The minimum amounts payable during registration will be credited towards relevant student fee accounts. The University has accounts at Standard Bank and ABSA Bank to enable payments. The banking details can be found on TUT’s website. The University also accepts payments by credit card.
From January 2024, electronic resource centres on TUT’s campuses will be open to assist first-time entering students who have difficulty accessing the system to complete their registration.
The academic year and lectures for ALL students will commence on 30 January 2024.
Comprehensive information on first-year orientation has been included in the acceptance letters sent to students. Students are advised to take note of the information and applicable dates since orientation plays a vital role in their integration into University life.
