TUT Journalism Requirements

TUT Journalism Requirements:

If you are interested in pursuing a Journalism program at Tshwane University of Technology (TUT), you will need to meet certain requirements to be considered for admission. A program in journalism at TUT provides students with the theoretical and practical knowledge necessary to work in the dynamic and ever-changing field of journalism.

To be admitted to the Journalism program at TUT, you will typically need to have a National Senior Certificate (NSC) or equivalent qualification, with a minimum of 50% in English Home Language or 60% in English First Additional Language. In addition, some programs may require you to submit a portfolio of your work, demonstrating your interest in and aptitude for journalism.

It’s important to note that meeting the minimum requirements does not guarantee admission, as TUT has a limited number of spaces available in each program and admission is competitive.
