Emerging Management Development Programme
TUT Humanities
The Faculty of Humanities stands as the largest academic division within Tshwane University of Technology, encompassing ten distinct academic departments and providing access to over 60 academic programs. Within this faculty, we house a range of departments including Applied Languages, Integrated Communication, Journalism, Law, Public Management, Safety and Security Management, as well as the esteemed School of Education.
The School of Education further comprises four distinct departments: the Department of Educational Foundation, the Department of Mathematics, Science and Business Education, the Department of Primary Education, and the Department of Technology and Vocational Education.
Situated primarily in Soshanguve, approximately 30 kilometres north of Pretoria, a majority of the faculty’s programs are delivered through traditional contact-based education. Moreover, we serve around 1,500 distance education students who are enrolled in the Department of Safety and Security Management.
These distance learners receive support from two central service hubs situated in Cape Town and Durban. Additionally, certain programs are extended to the eMalahleni, Mbombela, and Polokwane campuses.
