TUT Engineering Qualification
TUT Engineering courses are offered under the following qualifications;
- Higher Certificate
- Bachelor’s Degree

TUT civil Engineering
The admission requirements for Tshwane University of Technology Engineering programs vary depending on the level of study and the specific program. However, here are some general requirements for undergraduate programs:
- National Senior Certificate (NSC) or equivalent qualification with at least 50% in Mathematics and Physical Science
- English as a language of learning and teaching (LOLT) with at least a level 4 (50-59%)
- For some programs, additional requirements may include a minimum APS score, which is calculated based on the results of six subjects, including Mathematics and Physical Science.
For postgraduate programs, the requirements may include:
- A relevant undergraduate degree in engineering or a related field with a minimum average of 60%
- Proof of proficiency in English, if English is not the applicant’s first language
- A research proposal, if applying for a research-based program such as a master’s or doctoral degree.
