Position: Computer and Office Practice Lecturer

Centre: Estcourt Campus
Salary Notch: PL1

Requirements:

Must own a teaching qualification (B ED, NPDE-VT, ACE, PGCE), Degree/ Diploma in Office Management or Management Assistant.
Must be in the possession of SACE as proof.
Teaching Experience in the TVET Sector
Must be Computer literacy.
Must be able to teach at least two additional subjects in the relevant programme Subjects allocated to this post are:
Computer Practice.
Office Practice.

Key Responsibilities:

Teaching and learning delivery.
Student guidance and support.
Manage all academic and administrative activities in the classroom
Mark all assignments and tests for timely return and meeting the deadlines.
Designing and managing files for effective teaching and learning.
Maintain a POA, POE and subject files following the college academic Policy
Control and assessment of students’ files.
Record keeping of student marks/competence and attendance in according with the policy.
Attend subject meetings
Ensure adherence to the syllabus.
Work closely with the Senior Lecturer or HOD in the division.
Also, work closely with the Student Liaison Officer to provide academic and other support required by the student.

NOTE:

Certified copies of the Identity Document, Senior Certificate and the highest required qualification, will only be submitted by shortlisted candidates to HR on or before the day of the interview date.
